Description
Ayako Niikura who works as a creative doll artist and lecturer spared no pains over the work to create this product. The expression of the dolls face is remarkable. The sensitivity is full of gentleness. This is a doll of a little girl picking flowers in the fields in the Asuka Period (14 hundred years ago). She has a sweet-smelling flower in her hand. The pure silk dress represents the common clothes during that period. This work of art makes us feel like we can't stay away from thinking about our past. The producer used a plain white cloth and finished the dress with the ombre dyeing method. Hand carved Paulownia, moulded by hardening powder.
