The Lucky Bums Ski Trainer harness-and-leash system is an ideal product when it's time to get the kids on the slopes. It combines the safety and usefulness of an integrated handle with two detachable, seven-foot learn-to-turn ski leashes and a pack to safely stow leashes or other small items. After the kids can safely control their skis, stow the detachable straps at home and continue to take advantage of the small stow pack for essential items, and the integrated handle for safety on-and-off the chair lift.

Quick-release buckles offer easy removal, soft and adjustable straps ensure a custom fit, and the smooth safety handle is comfortable and easy to grab, even when wearing gloves. Recommended for young skiers up to age six, the Ski Trainer has been updated for winter 2009/2010 to include stronger webbing and easier-to-use leash clasps.

About Lucky Bums
Lucky Bums is the creation of Jeff and Julie Streeter, a husband and wife team, and former Colorado ski bums. When Julie became pregnant with their first child, friends told them they'd have to give up their backcountry pursuits. Unconvinced, and determined to share their love of the outdoors with their young family, they began searching for good kids- gear. It wasn't easy. The products available were of shoddy construction or poor design, and much of what they wanted simply didn't exist.

One day, unable to buy a decent ski training harness for his 18-month-old son, Jeff decided to make one himself. With Julie's help, the technology executive with a chemical engineering degree soon found himself hand-sewing harnesses in his off hours. The harness design proved to be an instant success, and when ski schools began requesting them, the Lucky Bums brand was born.

Today, Lucky Bums has grown from a single product to a true outdoor gear company with a growing staff, expanded facilities, and year-round products for snow play, hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting.
