Description
Nothing against battery intensive whiz-bang toys with whirling parts and laser weapons and mechanical robot arms. We love those toys a lot. But there's something thoroughly refreshing and pastoral about this wooden greenhouse kit from the hardware experts at Home Depot. It features almost everything you need to build a simple wooden planter: pre-cut, pre-drilled wood that's been sanded down to lessen the chance of nasty splinters. Also included are screws, nails, and detailed instructions. You must provide a hammer, a screwdriver, paint if you want it, and an adult to supervise the banging. Oh, there'll be plenty of time for video games and heavily armed action figures another day, but it's nice to take some time to build a nice planter. –Charlie Williams
